Hello everyone, I Specialize in the treatment of damage hair. In this segment I want to discuss; recognizing the systems of damaged hair.

Damaged hair is a common concern. Most people strive for and take pride in having beautiful healthy hair. The best way to treat damaged hair is to first recognize its symptoms. Dont be alarmed.

Porous Texture
Healthy hair should not be extremely porous. A good way to determine if your
hair isopodous and damaged is by seeing how fast it air dries after being washed-porous hair takes an unusually long time to dry naturally.

Dry
Dryness is both a symptom and a cause of damaged hair. Healthy hair is able to retain moisture and produces its own oils to keep it looking and feeling lustrous.

Brittleness
Hair that is brittle is fragile and breaks easily. This is the most tell-tale sign of
damaged hair. The easier hair breaks, the more damaged it is.

Split Ends
Hair that is damaged is usually evident by split ends. Although moderately split ends
can typically be repaired with specialty hair-care products, the best remedy for
severely split ends is to trim them.

Dullness
Without the moisture and structure of healthy hair, damaged hair is left dull and flat-
looking. Dullness is a common sign of damaged hair and is one of the symptoms most easily remedied with hair care products.

Holding Style
Damaged hair typically does not hold styles well, such as curls, perms or pressings. If your hair quickly reverts back to its dull state after being styled, it's probably
damaged.
